Screaming Flowers | A short film by Christopher Long
After the verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity, Maria Baltimore, is transferred to the Pennsylvania State Hospital's maximum-security wing, for evaluations and admission. Dr. Bruce Campbell has read the file and diagnosis her with Multiple Personality Disorder. But soon uncovers a story about Madison Daniels, a time traveler from the year 2050, who has killed 9 people from her kill list and why she chose to help her find and kill them. Dr. Campbell knows she is criminally insane but Maria's unbelievable story starts to assault his sense of reality.
Christopher Long's Screaming Flowers (2021) is the final chapter in his short film Vengeance Trilogy, which rounds out with Broken Angel (2011) and Forgotten (2020).
